Exploring the layers of immersion here – process, creators’ genre choice and motivation, identity, and roles – means we are able to understand the ambitions for Traces as an immersive storytelling experience. We revisit these ambitions in the next section of this chapter in our overview of participant responses to this particular immersive storytelling experience.
